Install Java
Exilent currently works only with Java 8 (JRE/JDK).
To download it search for it in google, it should be the first result:
https://www.google.hu/search?q=java+8+jdk
- Make sure to accept the License Agreement.
- Download the version you need and install it. You should pick the x64 (64 bit) version over the x86 (32 bit).
- Restart your computer if its required.
Default Java version
There can be several Java versions installed on a computer at the same time. When you double click a JAR file it will be executed on the Java version which is set as default.
In order to run Exilent you have to make sure you have Java 8 set as default.
Set default Java version
Windows
Installing any Java 8 (JRE of JDK) should be set as default.
Mac
Installing a Java 8 JRE wont be set as default so you will have to install Java 8 JDK.
Verify your default Java version
Ther are are several ways to do it.

Windows
Open up a Command Prompt.
- Start - Command Prompt
Type: java -version
The default Java version will be printed out. 1.8.0_xxx is Java 8.
Mac
Open up a Terminal.
- use the search icon in the top right corner
- type Terminal and open it
Type: java -version
The default Java version will be printed out. 1.8.0_xxx is Java 8.
