Download the version you need and install it. You should pick the x64 (64 bit) version over the x86 (32 bit).

Restart your computer if its required.

Default Java version

There can be several Java versions installed on a computer at the same time. When you double click a JAR file it will be executed on the Java version which is set as default.

In order to run Exilent you have to make sure you have Java 8 set as default.

Set default Java version

Windows

Installing any Java 8 (JRE of JDK) should be set as default.

Mac

Installing a Java 8 JRE wont be set as default so you will have to install Java 8 JDK.
